Pulitzer- Prize winning senior producer and investigative journalist telling human stories about the complex ties that connect us -
and the laws that separate us.
Some of my recent work.
When words aren’t enough.
About me.
“I write features and create long-form audio documentaries and narrative podcasts. My reporting is people-centered, and often examines systems of power, racism and access to human rights.”

Audio Reporting: Suave (2022)
“A distinguished example of audio journalism that serves the public interest, characterized by revelatory reporting and illuminating storytelling. A brutally honest and immersive profile of a man reentering society after serving more than 30 years in prison.”
-
Investigative Reporters & Editors/IRE: Death By Policy: Crisis in the Arizona Desert (2022)
“This story stood out for its on-the-ground reporting. This moving piece lived up to its title by showing how funneling migrants through environmentally dangerous areas led to their deaths. The team highlighted the border patrol’s attempt to take credit for the work that volunteers are doing. Embedding with the volunteer group in the desert was great reporting under physically difficult conditions.”
